Pros:
• No fragrance
• Non-irritating
• Gentle enough to use around the eyes
• Recommended for sensitive skin
• Fungal-acne safe
• Contains a variety of UV filters
• Minimal ingredients
Cons:
• Leaves a white cast, noticeable even on pale skin
• Not water-proof
• Not sweat-proof
• Shows up dry skin. (It also shows up dry skin I didn’t even know I had – recommend using some sort of lightweight moisturiser before applying this sun cream, if you have dry-type skin.)
• Does not state SPF – states only ‘Very High Protection’ and ‘Broad Spectrum UVA – UVB’
• Instructions recommend using x2 pumps of sun cream for face. I find it difficult to blend in only x1 pump.
Take-away:
This sun cream has given my extremely fussy skin no problems at all. It hasn’t dried me out, exacerbated my rosacea/easily-irritated skin, or brought out any type of acne at all. I like that it can be used around the eyes.
However, being non-waterproof or sweat-proof, and leaving the white cast which also shows up dry skin has left me wanting to look for an alternative sun cream.
If you’re at your wit’s end with looking for a fungal-acne safe sun cream and you don’t mind the white cast (perhaps it could serve as a base under makeup), then I’d recommend giving this one a go. Looking like a ghost is arguably better than suffering from the damaging effects of the sun.
