Folliculitis Scout uses a signed HTTP-only session cookie named fs_web_session to keep authenticated users signed in and to maintain session integrity.

Security and abuse-prevention technologies

Folliculitis Scout uses Cloudflare Turnstile on signup and login flows. That technology helps verify human activity and reduce bot traffic, spam, and automated abuse.

In the current codebase, Turnstile verification includes the challenge response token and sends client IP information to Cloudflare when that IP data is available on the request.

Performance and analytics technologies

The current site layout can load Google Tag Manager and Umami when analytics is enabled in app configuration. Those services may use cookies, scripts, or related identifiers to help measure traffic, engagement, and site activity.

Advertising technologies

Folliculitis Scout includes Google AdSense integration in the site components. Google may use cookies or related technologies for ad delivery, measurement, and related advertising functions.
